Limited 180gm colored vinyl LP pressing. At the height of British new wave, The Kinks found themselves back in vogue. Two of Ray Davies' early songs, "Stop Your Sobbing" and "David Watts" became hits for young, hungry bands (the Pretenders and the Jam, respectively). Meanwhile, Van Halen's version of "You Really Got Me" became an FM radio staple. Suddenly, The Kinks found themselves embraced by a new generation while also earning the praise of critics. Like the band's previous release Sleepwalker, 1978's Misfits showcases the band's newly stripped-down rock & roll direction and includes the tender, oddball hit Ray wrote for his brother, "Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy," and the bouncing pop gem "In A Foreign Land." Gatefold colored 180g vinyl LP reissue from Friday Music.

ALL VERSIONS come in random Caterpillar Red, Chrysalis Yellow, or Butterfly Blue LP. Gatefold Jacket and unsealed in 100% recycled paper sleeve.

KGLW’s 18th studio album, Butterfly 3000, might be their most fearless leap into the unknown yet; a suite of ten songs that all began life as arpeggiated loops composed on modular synthesizers, before being fashioned into addictive, optimistic and utterly seductive dream-pop. The album sounds simultaneously like nothing they’ve done before, and thoroughly, unmistakably Gizz, down to its climactic neon psych-a-tronic flourish. This is undoubtedly their most accessible and jubilant album to date.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard return with ‘L.W.’, their seventeenth studio album and the third volume in the band’s explorations into microtonal tunings. A companion piece to its 2020 predecessor, ‘K.G.’, as well as a stand-alone work of art in its own right, L.W. displays a collision of musical worlds. After a decade of frenzied productivity and a recent inability to tour, the band was able to “reset [their] brains” and embark upon a search for “the notes between the notes”. Out via KGLW

Vinyl LP pressing including digital download. Point of Know Return is the fifth studio album by classic rock band Kansas, originally released in 1977. "Dust in the Wind" is known for it's sparse acoustic nature. The guitar line for the song was written by Kerry Livgren as a finger exercise for learning fingerpicking. His wife, Vicci, heard what he was doing, remarked that the melody was nice, and encouraged him to write lyrics for it. Livgren was unsure whether his fellow band members would like it, since it was a departure from their signature style. However he did offer it to them, and the song was accepted and then recorded. The album is critically acclaimed for singles like "Point of Know Return", which was a late addition to the album. "Portrait (He Knew)" was written about Albert Einstein.

Rainbow [2LP]

Vinyl: $22.98 UNAVAILABLE

MP3 Album: $9.99 Download

Kesha reclaims her place in the music world with her new song, "Praying" - the initial advance track from 'Rainbow', her first album in nearly five years. Kesha wrote "Praying" with Ryan Lewis, Ben Abraham, and Andrew Joslyn; Lewis (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis) produced the track. 'Rainbow' will be released August 11th on Kemosabe Records/RCA Records. The music video for "Praying," is directed by Jonas Åkerlund. 'Rainbow' marks a new beginning for Kesha, one based around inner strength and musical exploration as she achieves her vision for the album by enlisting a roster of collaborators ranging from Eagles of Death Metal to Dolly Parton. Ben Folds produced the title track with Kesha, while Ricky Reed produced and wrote numerous tracks as well. Wrabel co-wrote a collaboration that features the Dap-Kings horn section. Eagles of Death Metal are featured on two tracks, while Parton guests on a version of her 1980 country chart-topper "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You." The track was co-written by Kesha's mother Pebe Sebert, who also has other songwriting credits on 'Rainbow'.
Kesha has had 9 Top 10 hits on The Billboard Hot 100, including four #1 singles at Top 40 Radio - "TiK ToK," "Your Love Is My Drug," "Die Young," and "Timber." Kesha took home the MTV EMA for Best New Act in November 2010 and was nominated for 2 American Music Awards, 3 MTV VMA Awards, and 6 Billboard Awards. She has performed on dozens of television programs all over the world, including MTV Europe Music Awards, Much Music Awards (Canada), Echo Awards (Germany), X Factor (Australia), American Music Awards, Billboard Awards, American Idol, Saturday Night Live, and The Today Show Summer Concert Series
