Vinyl LP pressing including digital download. Point of Know Return is the fifth studio album by classic rock band Kansas, originally released in 1977. "Dust in the Wind" is known for it's sparse acoustic nature. The guitar line for the song was written by Kerry Livgren as a finger exercise for learning fingerpicking. His wife, Vicci, heard what he was doing, remarked that the melody was nice, and encouraged him to write lyrics for it. Livgren was unsure whether his fellow band members would like it, since it was a departure from their signature style. However he did offer it to them, and the song was accepted and then recorded. The album is critically acclaimed for singles like "Point of Know Return", which was a late addition to the album. "Portrait (He Knew)" was written about Albert Einstein.

Monster

Vinyl: $25.98 UNAVAILABLE
Vinyl LP pressing. 2012 release, the 20th album from the Hard Rock legends. The album features contributions from all four members, including co-founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons and longtime members guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer. Monster represents Kiss' nod to the music that first inspired the band to pick up their guitars and flame-throwers, and don makeup to entertain millions. The group goes back to it's own beginnings with the Who-like 'Freak,' while Gene lives up to the title track's declaration on the raucous rock of 'Back to the Stone Age' and the bludgeoning 'The Devil is Me.' 'There are no symphony orchestras, boy choirs, keyboards, outside producers or songwriters on this album,' promises Gene Simmons. 'The best thing we did was to turn inwards to ourselves. Tommy and Eric have revitalized this band, with a work ethic and the talent to back it up. This is a real band effort. Kiss has become a behemoth. We're going where no bands have gone before.'

KORN vocalist Jonathan Davis elaborated on the forthcoming LP: “Deep, within our Earth lives an extraordinary force. Very few are aware of the magnitude and significance of this place where good/evil, dark/light, bliss/torment,loss/gain and hope/despair all existas one- pulling at us every moment of our lives. It’s not something we can choose to navigate, but rather anawarenessof this ‘presence’ that surrounds us with every breath, as if we are being watched at every moment. It’s the place whereblack and white energiesattach themselves to our souls, and shape our emotion, choices, perspective and ultimately our very existence. There is amiraculous and small realm within this vortex and it’sthe only place where balance between these dynamic and polarizing forces exists-where the soul finds its refuge.
